Les nympheas restaurant

The restaurant «Les Nymphéas» is located just in front of the Claude Monet’s house and settled down in an old farm from Monet’s time. You will be charmed by the terrace surrounded with flowers, as an invitation to extend the atmosphere of the visit of the gardens. A nice team will show you in the dining room and make you discover the open patio overlooking the typical yard of the farm. “The label Normandie Qualité Tourisme was granted to the restaurant as a guarantee of French traditional and Norman cooking with specialities such as the Monet’s recipes, a menu every day, an organic menu with local products and a large choice of ice-cream and sorbet cups made by the manager who has been ice-cream artisan for many years – and in addition, for the welcome, the quality and freshness of the products.

Menu « A La Table de Monet »
Every day of the week and during the whole season, the restaurant invites you to discover suggestions of menus made of a starter, main course and dessert which were served at the Claude Monet’s table. Claude Monet’s recipes are selected from the book « La cuisine selon Monet » by Claire Joyes and is available at the Foundation’s bookshop.

On every hour of the day, a halt at the tearoom, either at the flowered terrace or at the patio, will be a very pleasant time. For those in a hurry, sandwiches, meal box and drinks are also available.

Capacity : 110 seats in the dining-room and the patio
Menus including drinks : Jardin 23€ – Normand 29,50€ – Table de Monet 28,50 € – Terroir 33€
Please contact us for lower size groups. Dinner is possible upon reservation and for a minimum of 40 people
Reservations are open all year round.
